If you have received Christ as your Lord and Savior, it’s time for you to start experimenting how incredible Christian life is. It’s time for you to start walking with God and learn and take the first steps of walking with God.
If you put in the effort in studying the Word of God, you’ll find those nuggets of gold that explain how to do so like the great Biblical men and women.
If we’ve read the story of Genesis, we know that there was once a man in the Bible called Enoch that walked with God, but what does that mean?
The Apostle Paul has described this process of walking with God and learning about his beautiful character and who He is, as a growing-process that resembles a baby first learning to walk.
Those nuggets of gold are intended for everyone that looks fervently. However, in this post, I have already done that work for you.
I will tell you the exact ways in which you can start walking with our beautiful Lord Jesus. And you can begin to live the best Christian life ever.
Before we dive into the 4 ways to start walking with God, first let’s define what walking with God is:

What Is Walking With God?
Walking with God is a process that means leading a lifestyle that is different from the rest of world. A lifestyle that will set you apart as a unique and special human being. A lifestyle of love and holiness to the Lord.
It’s what comes next after receiving Christ as your Lord and Savior. An unsaved sinner can’t walk with God. It’s like trying to fly without a plane.
So Here Are The Life-Changing 4 Ways To Start Walking With God:
1. Have Holiness In Your Life

Unlike Catholics often depict, saints are not statues with a halo over their head. They’re real people like you and me who face real everyday issues with the power of the Lord.
They are real people who live perfectly sinless lives. It’s not impossible. Those are the people that the Lord wants to be with.
This one is the most important prerequisite of walking with God. There can be no walking with Him unless you are sinless. Now, you may be saying right now “no one is sinless, we are all sinners saved by the grace of Christ”.
While this is definitely true, once you have been cleansed by the blood of the Lord, your number one priority is to be absolutely sinless and keep sin totally AWAY from your life. Let me say it again, it’s not impossible.
In fact, it is mandatory. Here are a couple of Bible verses that state just how vitally important is this in walking with God:
Hebrews 12:14 (NIV): “Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord”.
john 8:11: “Then neither do I condemn you,”Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
No one that doesn’t have a holy life will even enter heaven! See how our Lord emphasizes a sinless life? Other versions of John 8:11 state “go now and never sin again”.
This is just so important in walking with God because there is no way you can be with God and live a life of sin simultaneously.
If you are in sin, repent now and ask God to help you live a holy life. You can do it with His help!
So from now on, fight, fight, fight against any kind of sin that wants to come into your life! This may be entering into adult sites, lying, gossiping, stealing or anything else.
BREAK these chains in the name of Jesus.
2. Pray at least 3 times a day

Warning: If you think that going to church on Sundays and praying in there is enough, and that you don’t have to pray anymore during the week at home, or at work, my dear brother/sister in Christ, don’t think that!
It’s a huge mistake many people make. While people think that, they won’t be walking with God!
But don’t worry, you can fix that right now!
Praying several times a day is essential in walking with God.
The Biblical men and women in the Word of God prayed MANY times a day, at least 3 times a day.
Daniel 6:10 (NIV): “10 Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before”.
Daniel was facing severe religious persecution from people who envied the amazing political and economic success God had given him.
The verse is talking about a death decree that Daniel was being persecuted with, that threatened him by stating that if he prayed one more time to his God, he was going to be executed. If you know the story, then you know that not even a DEATH DECREE could stop Daniel from kneeling down and praying.
To be the ultimate Biblical man/woman not even a death decree should stop you from praying!
3. Read, Read and Read the Bible

People often say knowledge is power. In your life with Christ, this is SO much true.
Even if you have YEARS of Bible study. Keep reading the Bible as if your life depended on it. Because truth is, it does.
Like the famous writer Gary Paulsen used to say, “Read like a wolf eats!”
Make a habit of it. Study it, take it everywhere with you. You will never see a true Christ-follower without its Bible.
Study it as hard as you would to pass a really difficult Ph.D class, because the lessons you’ll learn from it will be essential in walking with God.
Another really great reason to study it really hard is this:
The lessons that you don’t learn from it will be your weak points. That the devil will use to destroy you.
Keep in mind Hosea 4:6 always:
Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge”.
God wants to bless you with his heavenly knowledge. You just have to study!
So it’s really important that you incorporate this vital habit into your daily routine. Your walking with God depends on it.
4. Go To A Church With Biblical Doctrine, Where God is Worshipped
Going to church is something you just can’t skip. It’s where you are comforted, blessed, and edified by the faith of other Christians who love the Lord like you!.
You should totally have communion with other Christians,
And it is commanded:
John 13:34: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another”.
This is a holy commandment from the Lord Jesus.
And it is so easy to comply with.
Because when you love the Lord Jesus with all your heart, it is SO easy to love others. It’s happened to me.
When I say go to a church with Biblical doctrine, I mean that you should go to a church where there aren’t any practices or beliefs that contradict the Bible. Be careful with this. Many will be deceived in the last times!
Like anything that’s worth something in life, it’s not easy. It’s hard. But it being harder makes walking with God SO much more worth it. Glory to God.

Hoses scripture is incorrect. It is Hoses 4:6; not 6:4 as listed in the article.
